    Decent prices. Not much for bulk foods in relation to a superstore. Great staff most have been there for as long as i can remember 10+ years.

    Good selection of brand name and PC brand and no-name. Great weekly sales and friendly staff.

    While I used to shop at extra foods all the time, I realized their prices even on the PC brand are not cheaper than any other grocery store. Why would you pay the same or close to the same prices and then have to bag your own groceries... I HATE bagging my groceries! You are so rushed because there are people waiting behind you in line, then you have to pay... why not have them pack the groceries as they scan them like Safeway... it only takes an extra second for them! This is not a reflection of any specific store, but the checkout staff at Selkirk is usually pretty friendly.

    Great prices, wide variety, stores a bit aged though and remember to bring a loonie for a cart and reusable bags
