I posted a review on here 2 weeks ago in regards to my experience dealing with Steeltown. The review was negative and I was contacted by Mitch, their internet manager who asked me to remove the negative review and they would contact me with a resolution to my issue. I assumed that he was a professional and a man of his word so I removed the review. Two weeks went by without any contact. Following up with customers seems to be something that they just don't bother with which is unacceptable for a dealership of this size. I emailed Mitch the internet manager and the salesman who sold me my car (Troy) called me. Troy was very abrasive and rude on the phone. He talked over me repeatedly and made excuse after excuse as to why him and the dealership are in the right and I'm in the wrong. He then told me that the issue was related to the accidents on it, which it is not. He wouldnt listen to me and it got to the point where I had to tell him I didn't appreciate him talking to me that way and I don't deserve to be disrespected. He then told me that steeltown has been in business for 35 years because they provide great customer service but yet he was yelling at me and blaming me on the phone. He did not present any form of resolution like Mitch had said their would be. At the end of this heated and totally unprofessional call he told me to get my lawyer involved. This salesperson told me to get my lawyer involved! He didn't even escalate it to a general manager or dealer principle, instead he took it upon himself to tell me to take legal action. I sell cars too and I don't have the authority to tell a customer to have their lawyer get involved, that's something that management would handle at that point of escalation and I doubt he has the authority to either. I can think of several ways to resolve the issue without legal action being taken but no one has given me any options for resolution other than shell money out for a lawyer because we don't want to take responsibility. Troy called me on my work phone which is a recorded line so I have that conversation of him yelling at me which I will be bringing to the attention of his management team. No customer deserves to spoken to like that. If I spoke to a customer like that there is no doubt that if would be fired on the spot because it's atrocious customer service.

I bought a truck from then a couple months back and they were nice enough to deliver it. Bad thing was when the salesman big Mike delivered it it had a large scrape and scteach on the one side that was fresh and not there. Salesman agreed and said he would talk to the manager about it. Never head back from them and then I took it in to get polished but the scratch was to deep. The manager Ross who's a douche bag passed me off and said it was there and I must have must it. Unbelievable and the salesman big Mike never backed me up and said he wasn't sure. The place is old school douche bag car salesmans

Awesome place to buy a truck , I dealt with Steve Lam and he was perfect. There was pressure, he listened and delivered everything we asked for and more. I had checked prices before and the value we got was awesome. You have to go and see them.

I purchased a 2013 mustang from troy. A month after purchasing the vehicle the paint on the hood started peeling off in strips. When I contacted troy about it he told me there was nothing he could do because they don't have a body shop, I said that isn't acceptable and asked to have him contract a company to do it. He said he would take care of it. When I brought it in to the dealership i realized that they didn't want to pay to send it somewhere to be done properly they instead chose to paint a big chunk of my hood with a touch up pen. The touch up pen does not have primer in it and paint doesn't adhere to bare aluminum so a month later it did he same thing so I constantly have to touch the paint up on the hood after going through car washes. A year later I had an issue with the heat in the mustang and took it to a Ford dealership in Tennessee where they informed me that the engine in the car isn't the factory engine. There for steeltown sold me a car & a $3500 Ford ESP on a vehicle with an engine with unknown kms on it. So it could have 100000kms on it or it could have 350000kms I have no idea. The engine is clearly marked with chalk pen making it easily noticeable to a technician, there is no way that a tech wouldn't have noticed that upon safety. The writing on the intake is that of a junk yard. I paid 18 grand after tax for a car with a junk yard engine! Buyer Beware
